Submit Your Nomination for the ICAP Board of Directors

Nominations are being accepted starting
September 18, 2025 until October 3, 2025.

ICAP is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors from experienced professionals across relevant disciplines, including:

  • Dentist – General Dentist, Oral Surgeon, Orthodontist, Paediatric Dentist – Degree qualifications include Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD), Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS) or equivalent degree and active licensure
  • Manual Therapist – Chiropractor, Osteopathic Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist who operates under a supervising authority.
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Clinical Research – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) required for this position, post-doctoral research experience preferred but not required

This is an opportunity to contribute leadership and expertise to a dynamic global consortium committed to advancing research, education, and clinical standards in the area of oral ankylofrenula (tongue-tie).

  • Have read through the ICAP bylaws available on the ICAP website (https://icapprofessionals.com/member-area/bylaws/, must be logged in to view)
  • Understand the time commitment involved in being a board member- generally between 4-8 hours per month depending on committee assignments, and ICAP events schedule which varies from year to year
  • Have a current active membership with ICAP 
  • Be interested in helping to direct the future activities of ICAP
  • Not use ICAP membership or BOD for personal gain
