The International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP) was formed in 2016 with the desire to have a democratic organization for healthcare professionals wanting to assess, understand and treat oral restrictions. ICAP was conceived in response to a call for an ethical, inclusive and fair organization to represent the growing number of oral ankylofrenula professionals in the world. It is with our strongest belief that mutual respect and collaboration amongst all healthcare professionals working with oral restrictions is essential to furthering our knowledge and maximizing our successes in this emerging field.
