More Information

Abstracts for both in person and virtual presentations will be accepted, with preference given to in person presentations. Workshops and Poster Presentations must be facilitated in person. Presenters will come from a myriad of backgrounds, including lactation consultants, speech language pathologists, dentists, physicians, osteopaths, manual therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, midwives, research scientists, and more.

ICAP welcomes presentations that apply to assessment, treatment, pre/post op therapies, collaborative practice, research, and innovations surrounding ankylofrenua (oral restrictions). The theme of the 2026 conference is Bridging Gaps, thus, presentations are encouraged to focus on bridging gaps in knowledge and practice. ICAP deeply values collaborative care and encourages presentations that support this philosophy, as well. A deeper understanding of ICAP’s approach can be provided by the Position Statement and Practice Guidelines available. If you are unsure if your presentation on a topic relevant to oral restrictions is appropriate, we encourage you to go ahead and submit!
